So I think I'm going just go ahead and take back my laptop on Friday, order the lost part, and put it back together myself. I think I've waited long enough.

Question for my friends, say you could have any exotic creature as a pet... and this animal was totally trained to obey your will... but you HAD to have two of them, and they always had to be with you at all times.... what animal would you get?

A large cat of some sort. Some friends of the family back home (Washington state) actually own several tigers and other large cats. The land around their house looks like something out of Jurasic Park. I've always been envious.

They also have regular cats, too. The last time I was there, one of them was taunting the bobcat by parading around right in front of its cage. The bobcat was intent and stalking the smaller cat, but neither the cat or the owners seemed to pay it any heed. Made me wonder if it was a game they often played, so to speak.

Well, you should know my answer to this, but after the little Nature Channel bit from last night, it may be a draw between a Red Panda and a Wolverine. They're both so fluffy and cute and they pounce. Oh, Face can we have one? [cue trembling lip]
