So since everyone else is doing it, I guess I should try it. I'm going to cut together some "Let's Play" videos. I'm still trying to settle on how I'm going to do it, I'm thinking maybe I'll just record the footage and then do a commentary over it (discussing things like gaming history and game design and development), or maybe I should just free ball it and turn on the mic while I play.

Currently I'm going to revisit old games, like Quake and Doom and the like, but I'm also going to do new games, like MWO and FireFall. Also, there's a few games out there I have never played, and I think having episodes where I get to apply 30 years of gaming experience into my first time ever playing a game like Grim Fandango would be really cool.

So I dunno, I'm going to play games no matter what, and I'm going to awkwardly mumble while I do it, but I'm just not quite sure how I want to do the presentation itself.



Okay, so here's some of the games on the dock for this:

MechWarrior Online - GIANT STOMPY ROBOT WARFARE
FireFall - Serious fun action shooter wrapped around a deep MMO
Metro: Last Light - Hunt and be hunted by mutants in the sewers of a broken mother Russia. *Incredible* lighting and special effects in this one.
Skyrim - Skyrim. Turned up to 11.

I'm also going to go back and play some classics like Quake, Doom, Full Throttle... even some old arcade games like Asteroids or Defender. Oh! And my buddy gave me a great idea, I'm going to play, for the very first time, classic games that I've never played before, like Grim Fandango and Indiana Jones. Of course, I'm going to dig up forgotten stuff as well.

At some point I'm going to sneak in some development videos from Mjolnir Software as well.

Lots of options. Whatever it is, it involves playing video games, and me talking about it.Two of my favourite hobbies.
