And I know, as a fat person, how your comment fits into the larger culture of fat shaming in our country. I also know, as someone who reads a lot on the topic, how 20 minutes of brisk exercise each day isn't a magic cure for obesity. 20 minutes of brisk exercise each day may improve a fat person's health, but rarely make a difference in their weight (and, therefore, their Facebook photos).
