Spikey Bracelet

Two renders of a spiky two-piece bracelet I designed. This piece is a definate nod to the more clumsier edgier punk rock style of the 80's. This would definately be cast as silver or a highly polished aluminum, with two rubber O rings stretched across the band for contrast.

I'm at the point now I think I might do a few hanging earrings, and a possible few organics, and then I'll be ready to start producing.

Good news! I got my materials sampler today and I'm very pleased. I can't believe how good the metals are. The transparent poly is neat, but it's not quite what I want, and I'm a little disappointed that the glass samples weren't included.

Anyways, I'm really only a few days away from production.

As a heads up for plugs most people prefer borosilicate which should be the same kind of glass that makes Pyrex cook wear. It's durable and holds up to higher heats.

Things like my purple dichro that I was referencing yesterday in a post is made of borosilicate glass and I can send you pictures if you want since IS discontinued a lot of their glass line. Glass Wear Studios still has some and again you can peruse their jewelry at gws.com (I think it is, my computer is being stupid) if you want. Just so you can have some fucking idea as to what I'm on about again.
