So... about NaNoWriMo.

I seriously picked the wrong year to try to do NaNo.

It's not that I don't want to be a part of it, nor am I not capable. It's just that I have so much going on, it's hard for me to get any writing time in. I mean, I can write at work, but not when I'm at home. Not with what's going on, and seriously... have you seen the games coming out?

Yeah seriously... wrong year for this.

Regardless, I'm going to keep plugging away. I have every intention of finishing a novel this year, and I can do it. I just can't see myself being able to get it down within the deadline. Which is fine, because honestly, with the complete and total lack of interest or regard for almost ANYTHING i try to do from almost EVERYONE in my life (with only a few rare exceptions to this), I think it's okay now if I just tell everyone to go fuck off and I just write for myself, on my own time.

Also, I'm still doing the fundraiser.

Not that anyone gives a fuck about that either.

Anyways... back to writing. Because fuck you, that's why.

Well, I did a pretty decent amount of work today. I did at LEAST my minimum. I'm going to have to crank it up a little more though, because I know I'm going to have a lot of downtime this month. So maybe I should be aiming at 2,500 words a day.

I need to start keeping track of my hourly rate, and I REALLY need to not worry about things like "consistent formatting", because I think I lost too much time worrying about that. But... my paragraphs need indents, damnit, and having to spend a few days on just indenting alone at the end of this project is just going to make me never do this again.

For now... I MUST stop writing and go to bed.
