Best Friday the 13th Ever.
May. 14th, 2011 01:52 pmGod, the view from the portico. I drank a martini while watching the sunset reflect off of the city skyline.
Definately one of the most amazing days I've ever had.
We went to the Philly Art Museum. This place has suddenly become one of my favourite museums. The Asian Wing alone is worth the admission. We also spent a lot of time staring at the Washington Monument fountain over in Eakins Oval.
We ended with a stroll along the Schuylkill River Trail. We also checked out the Waterworks, Azalea Park, and Lemon Hill.
I found myself hip deep in both nature and art, and I loved every minute of it. I saw some legendary works of art, some serious master crafts, and some of the best Museum exhibit designs ever. I have a much better understanding of the level of craft I'm going to have to express in order to do this whole Master's thing right. It will happen because I believe it will happen.
Like I said, absolutely wonderful day. One of the best I've had in a long time.
Then when I got home, I found out I'm going to be a father, so that kinda made it the best day evar.
