I was Horribly Wrong*.

"Five fucking years. I'm going to call it now. I'm going to see one or two lj entries. I might see a dozen facebook entries. Maybe a blog post. Maybe a quick one column article on page 3 of a big metro paper."

I was wrong. I saw one FB mention, and there was no doubting who it was going to be from. Not a single other mention on Facebook. Oh, but I did get three people ask me about it. Because... they forgot I guess.

I didn't see a single mention here on livejournal.

Nothing on any of my social network sites. Just one damned entry for the entire day.

It's like everyone forgot. It's like it never happened. No personal commentary, and one small blurb in the news.

I guess everyone forgot.

...

My heart is broken.



So be it, I'll be the only one to remember. As long as it takes.

* To be fair, maybe everyone forgot because the news has been full of nothing all day but stories about how the Gulf is still dying from that massive oil spill...

Fangoria Appearance

I guess since the cover has been released, I can go ahead and announce it now. I will be appearing in the Halloween issue of Fangoria Magazine.

It hits the streets September 10th. Grab a copy. I’ll sign it.
