I really miss the livejournal community. It looks like the majority of it died in 2007, and then again in 2015. I always come back when I get an email about a friend's birthday, and then I pop by and read their last entries. Most everyone just kinda left their stories hanging, especially the ones that passed away. Once in a while I'm all like "hey where are they now" and I go look, and I get depressed, because they didn't really go anywhere, and I hate seeing that.

It's one of the reasons why I don't get in contact with old friends, or visit the old neighbourhood, or go to my high school reunion. I don't want to run into someone I haven't seen in years and then ask "hey what's new?" to only hear them say "nothing."

That's terrible. Why are you still alive then?
