love is the desire for beauty, which is the image of the divine

Love someone deep enough, and you will see god in their eyes. See god in someone's eyes, and you will glimpse love.

Once you see it, you will never be able to ignore it, or hide it, or let go.

Love scars us, forever. This is how god cuts us.
