Defining Words, Defining People.
Feb. 18th, 2011 09:22 pmfickle - (From Old English ficol. From Proto-Germanic (compare Old Norse feikn (“portent”)), from Proto-Indo-European (Latin piget (“it irks, displeases”))
1. Quick to change one’s opinion or allegiance; insincere; not loyal or reliable.
According to my ex-fiance*, certain people I call "friends" are telling her I am fickle in my relationships.
If you call yourself a friend of mine, and you think I'm "fickle" when it comes to my most intimate relationships, you can now excuse yourself from the rest of my life, because obviously you don't fucking know me, and you haven't been paying attention to who and what I am.
* That being said, I'm of the mind that my ex is fucking delusional, so take that shit with a grain of salt. I know who my friends are. That's why I'm not naming names. I'm just throwing this shit out there.
